Verified ReviewerIncorrect info on advertisement and delay in processing refund
Misleading information was provided on the advertisement and this is the second time it happened to me. I always give organisation second chance which i did but got in trouble after this.
I raised a dispute as the information provided in add was incorrect. Manager advised that i will get refund in 3 days and now I am stuck with no car no money for a week.
If i have the option of zero rating i would do that even 1 star rating is more for them.
- No pros whatsoever

Lack Lustre Customer Service I have 5 order awaiting delivery
I have 5 order awaiting delivery, the first 2 puirchases are well over due Aust Post states delayed? Tried to communicate with Graysonline Customer Service they said they would ger back to me in 1-2 business days they didn't.
Tried to contact Chris Corbin CEO of Graysonline, his email bounced back stating his in-tray was full? Either he is incompetent, or avoid customer contact owing to the shabby company he is CEO for.
I now get replies from Customer Services stating your file has been updated?
I need answers not excuses. They are doing nothing to fix the problem, even though they debited the Money over a week ago?
I have been with Graysonline for over 20 years and have found their lack of support disgraceful

Verified ReviewerBrought a car with a blown up motor.
Brought a 4WD in October 2022 from Victoria auction.
Got the car delivered in Newcastle NSW. When the car got delivered the car courier driver had trouble starting it and when he finally did it just blow heaps of smoke.
Couple of weeks later I took it down to my mechanic to get a blue slip for it and on the way it overheated.
My mechanic pulled down the top end of the motor and found that the motor has been fully overheated (cooked) before I bought it. So I was up for $10,500- for a secondhand motor after zI just paid $10,570- for the car.
Put a complaint in to Grays and after 3months of them reviewing it they wouldnt come to the party for the motor.
Preferred solution: Price reduction

i made a complaint and was offered a refund i agreed and explained it needed to happen before xmas as im going away with my whole family this year and my terminaly ill father who hasnt got long to live its the first and last family trip in over 20 years and because grays didnt get back to me about the day the car was getting collected they told me within 2 days then asked me what i would pay if they gave it to me cheaper i gave them an offer and its now christmas eve and ive had to stay home with my kids due to having no car money this has been an awful expierience for me and i still havent had any type of communication with grays
User's recommendation: look over the car before purchase know your rights and dont let the nice photos fool you
Because I won bid and was outbid after auction closed and have photos to verify
Here is another one. When you finish this doc and then have to get a code it means you have to start again.
I think Ill just tell people what the problem was with your ability to not accept higher bids after auction closes. Many wont be impressed.
BUYING WINE FROM GRAYS IS A GAMBLE
I've been using Grays Online for over a decade for wine purchase and for the most part have been happy with the product. Lately we have had 2 boxes of sparkling wine that don't sparkle.
Grays give a 30 day money back guarantee which sounds good but the devil is in the detail. I live in Perth and it takes up to 3 weeks for the wine to arrive, the best I have had is around 2 weeks. But Grays start the guarantee from the invoice date which is really dishonest. Assuming it takes an average of 2 weeks to arrive that leaves 2 weeks to drink a carton of wine, we would drink 2 bottles a week on average.
The other gamble is that quite often you can't compare wines on Grays to other wine merchants as they are usually odd bods or wines that were meant for export, it's rare that they auction off everyday names that you would see in Liquorland etc. There are plenty of wine merchants (eg Vinomofo) that sell reputable brands at good discounts so it's bye bye Grays.

Disappointed in service
I have been buying from Grays for years. In October they delivered to an address we had not been at for 1 year - orders prior and after have come to our correct address.
So only option is refund, and of course our card changed from October to December due to being hacked.
So it is now December and we cannot get refund we have to go through our bank to try and get money.
I asked if the money could be credited to our account (that we have had a for a few years) but not this type of accounting is beyond them.
User's recommendation: Service is terrible
Would give zero stars cause they dont deserve 1.
Bad customer service, almost impossible to contact anyone except in
the phillipines. But they do have a good team in wa, spent an hour trying to contact qld and ended up getting a nice chick that tryed to help but im not holding out much hope. Bunch of rip off artists, check out 9 news report on them...
Web page
Why have you changed your web page its a real pain navigate the wine section used to be easy now its painful
You might think its easy but its now worse than ever to go to Shiraz you have to navigate too long to get to your product after more than 30 years as a customer I find it frustrating to go and get exited to buy anything now either simplify it or rather go elsewhere

Verified ReviewerOverall lies and car that needed work ALOT of work
I purchased a car through grays that had advertised that it had complete service history but when I picked up car it had not been serviced in over 40 thousand ks and had oil in coolant. A complete lie and a car that should not have been advertised as such. The car is now in mechanical shop and going to cost me thousands.
This is the second time that this has happened grays are a shonky company that sell peoples problems and lie
- Nil after twice being sold car with stuffed motor
- Too many to list

Verified ReviewerUnpaid invoice 601016**-**
My name is David Syme and I bid on a car at auction the car didnt get close to its reserve by any means and I found out later that it was 20k reserve and my winning bid was at 11k
I did not notice that instead of going through as referred instead it went through as a won auction item and I was invoiced for the total amount of my bid which I thought was odd because it didnt come close to reaching its reserve (judging by the reserve indicating slider bar on the website)
When I spoke to the owner and found out it was being relisted unreserved I thought it was weird that you guys had invoiced me for it acting like it was going to be my car if I bought it even though the instructions you had been given from the vendor was to relist unreserved
Now im
Still getting emails chasing me to pay the total amount of the invoice for a week or so and now another invoice for restocking and relist fee but its just plain dishonest what was the plan here im really interested and would love to get an explanation for the events that have unfolded here
- Good site with nationwide exposure
- Poor communication
- Bully invoicing tactics
- Dodgy business ethics
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Be very careful when bidding make sure you add up all the fees in a compounding manner to get an accurate bid price

REFUSAL TO REFUND $3,077.31 DUE TO FAILURE TO SUPPLY 12 X ERS EF41 DISPLAY FRIDGE PURCHASED ON 23/11/2022
Following several emails and multiple phone calls over the last 50 days, I am extremely unhappy with the fraudulent manner Grayson line has disregarded and ignored my complain and request for refund for goods that Graysonline failed to supply 50 days after the purchase date. Having made several phone and email contact, I am writing to seek refund for the 12 X ERS EF41 DISPLAY FRIDGES purchased and paid on 23/11/2022 .
It is very frustrating for me because I have paid for these fridges on 23/11/2022 and hired a truck to pick up the fridges a week after from Chipping Norton but no fridges so I visited Graysonline Moorebank office.
Graysonline told to call Unified Services which I did and was advised that Graysonline has not paid Unified Services for the Fridges I paid on 23/11/2022.
I then had to wait for another week and return to Chipping Norton on 07/12/22 and Ingleburn on 22/12/22 and still no fridges available to pick up and Graysonline could not offer any answer whatsoever. I spent over $500 on truck hire traveling to 3 locations with no fridges.
As of today 11/01/23 Graysonline has neither supply the product no refund the money
