I recently bought few trucks off these guys from a major company liquidation. One of the trucks listed a blown turbo, no battrey power and a non goer.

Approx repair bills 13k. So i buy it and assuming wat thy listed be correct, flew all the way frm syd to mackay to put a turbo on the truck and drive it back. I put new battries on as the grays team would not let me jump start the vehicle prior to sale end date saying it would leak oil since the turbo was gone. Turbo replaced and truck started and the surprise of my life!!

There was nothing wrong with the turbo in the first place. The truck had a blown piston. Now that approx 13k repair estimate turned into a 30k engine repair plus few grand in tow cost to get it to brisi snce nobody can repair it inthe bush. Misleading info on sale catalog will cost me approx 35 to 40k to rectify the issues.

They have to cop this cost coz if thy were putting this info there and it turned out incorrect, they are to blame.Views welcome

Car descriptions are inaccurate, bought car, has major mechanical issue that would have been obvious on startup.

Don't rely on their descriptions, they either don't disclose problems or have very unqualified people performing their inspections.
